Is this course beginner friendly?

This Web Design course is completely beginner friendly. Students can go through step by step video lessons to learn each part of the design process. You can pause the video and replay as many times as you like until you are comfortable and grasp each section!

To create a website, you will first need to purchase your Domain Name – that is the URL or name of the website, example www.mywebsite.com. This is normally just a yearly fee of R200 or USD 10

Next you will need to purchase Web Hosting, which is the server on which you will store your website. This fee could range from R60 to R150 (USD 3 to 7) per month. Most Web Hosting companies do provide Web Hosting and Domain Name registration together. Maruti Media also provides Web Hosting services and we would be happy to help you get started!

Next is a professional WordPress Theme and Plugins! Now this is not required but can definitely help to create a professional website! The Web Design course does include the usage of a PRO theme and plugins on one website so you don’t have to worry about this cost for your first website!

I previously created this course as a once off fee, but with a much higher price tag. I wanted to give everyone the opportunity to join and learn Web Design, so I created a package in which students can sign up and learn the course in their own time.

I also want to give my students the opportunity to learn Web Design and other courses related to Digital marketing and business. So students will also have FREE access to other courses in due time!

About me

I have a degree in Media and Marketing and Drama and Performance, and have been actively involved in the development of digital media products since 2010. My experience ranges from the inception of JUST Magazine in 2010 to publishing various titles on Amazon. I also have experience as a journalist for Media 24 and a columnist for a South African national newspaper.

In 2022, I authored and published Gems from the Master, through Maruti Media, which is dedicated to the learnings derived from Mohanji.

I established Maruti Media as a web design and publishing company in 2015 to help entrepreneurs and small business owners establish their online presence!
